It’s time to recover truth

The past nearly 200 years has seen endless assaults on the Word of God. From Higher Criticism to Darwinism to Feminism and more, Scripture has been attacked, belittled, twisted, and denied sometimes even by those who call themselves Christians. If we are ever to recover truth concerning biblical womanhood, we must do so by turning to the source of truth itself: God's Word. We must believe and obey it. The Word of God is immutable, infallible, sufficient, inerrant, complete, and just as relevant today as it was when it was written. Our purpose as women of God can only be recovered when we refuse to listen to the voices that ask, "Did God really say?"

Only by looking to the Word of God can we comprehend the glorious purpose for which women were created.

Make homemaking great again

We've been told that homemaking is overwhelming, underwhelming, too hard, can be done by dunces--it can't be all of these. Sisters, we have been lied to. We can't make homemaking great again because it already is great and beautiful. We must learn to be faithful in our daily tasks and do it for God's glory. God has called us to be keepers of our home. We ought to embrace this for His glory. Our attitude must be to do all things for the glory of God. If we have this attitude, then we will see that being a homemaker is a glorious and beautiful way to serve our Lord, our families, and the church. 

How has feminism impacted our families, the church, and society?

Feminism was, from the beginning, an attack on God's Word, Christianity, manhood, womanhood, and family. No good can come from such evil.
Feminism has become so widespread that it has become the lens through which we, perhaps unwittingly, see the world. God isn't pleased or honored when we believe lies rather than believing the truth of His Word.
Because of feminism, so many older women teach their younger sisters, their daughters, to pursue their dreams, follow their hearts, infiltrate areas once set aside for men--whether in the home, church, or society. Feminism has impacted the way the church, home, and society operates and has led to many unquestionably accepting its lies as truth. If we are to recover truth, we must pull back the darkness, hold the lies of feminism up to examination, while standing firmly on the Word of God.

It doesn’t matter if he’s a cute guy: What to look for in the man you will marry

When we’re young, we often find ourselves attracted to a cute guy simply because he’s, well, a cute guy. But then we grow up and we realize that a cute guy isn’t necessarily a good guy. Good looks don’t make a godly man. Only a man who loves the Lord more than he’ll ever love you is worthy of your consideration.
You need to marry a man who will be a man, not someone stuck in adolescence. Don’t look at his outward appearance; that will fade. Don’t choose a man simply because you have a lot in common. Never choose a guy simply because he makes you feel good about yourself, he makes a lot of money, he makes you laugh, or because he treats you well. A man can do all of those without loving Christ.
Don’t look for a man who claims to be a Christian but one you are sure is. Just because he goes to church with you, or is willing to accommodate your beliefs, doesn’t mean he’s a true believer. Look for a man whose life bears biblical fruit.

Cultivating a gentle and quiet spirit

God says that a gentle and quiet spirit is of great value. What is it? How do we develop it? God isn't requiring us to be quiet and never express our thoughts or opinions. We are, however, not to be women given to strife, contentious, or seeking to draw attention to ourselves. Are you living in obedience to your husband? To your elders? Or are you living in rebellion to the authority set over you? A woman with a gentle and quiet spirit will seek God's honor in the things she says, what she thinks, how she shares her thoughts. She will have a gentle attitude, one that seeks the good of others above her own. God isn't telling us we can't talk, but that we must talk in the right way. We must use our words to build up rather than to tear down.

We’ve forgotten how to blush

We need to regain our ability to be embarrassed about sin. These days, we don't even know that we need to blush. To blush, we must understand we have  a reason to blush, there must be a standard we are breaking. If we light a match and throw it on something flammable, we shouldn't be surprised when it bursts into flame. God's Word gives us a standard for modesty. We need to recover this standard and we need to recover a sense of shame when we transgress God's holy Word by dressing in ways that dishonor our Lord. 

When we rail against the patriarchy, we rail against God

Scripture is a patriarchal book. God defines our duties and purpose as women. When we fight against this, we are waging war against God. And we will lose.

To fight feminism, stand firm on the Word of God

Take back truth and fight feminism by knowing God's Word. Define Word biblically. Let your worldview be framed by God's Word.
